Travel Program in Chile
Day 1: Santiago
Arrive in Santiago, city tour to visit the government Palace, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Cerro Santa Lucia, the most fashionable districts of the city and the handicraft villages. Enjoy the folk-custom performance after a local flavor dinner.
Day 2: Punta Arenas
Fly to Punta Arenas, if weather permits you can see the Andes and Glaciers from the flight. Our guide will meet you at the airport and send you to Puerto Natales (3 hours). On route visit the scenery of the southmost point of the world. Rest in the hotel after arrival.
Day 3: Torres del Paine National Park and Glaciers
After having breakfast in the hotel, departure to connect with excursion to Torres del Paine National Park with beautiful views of mountains and lakes as the Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and Pehoe. Its fauna will be present through guanacos and foxes, among others, plus a large number of birds, easily observed during the tour. Enjoy a boat tour of the Glaciers after lunch. Drive back to Puerto Natales at the end of today’s tour.
Day 4: Southern Lakes of Chile
Fly to Puerto Montt after having breakfast in the hotel. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel for rest. Visit Llanquihue lake, Puerto Varas, Frutillar and German Colonial Museum in the afternoon.
Day 5: Scenery around volcanoes
Having breakfast in the hotel, transfer to Petrohue Waterfalls and beautiful Lago Todos los Santos. On route to visit the pastures, farms, Calbuco Volcano and Osorno Volcano. After a western lunch drive back to Puerto Montt for flight to Santiago.
Day 6: Valparaiso - Viña del Mar
Having breakfast in the hotel, then transfer to Valparaiso. Stop at the winery for visit and taste their best wines. After arrival in Valparaiso to visit the Navy Monument on Sotomayor Square and enjoy a seafood lunch. Drive to Viña del Mar in the afternoon, visit the flower clock, Easter Island and the moais/Isla de Pascua, and seals. Back to Santiago and have Chinese dinner, rest in the hotel.
Day 7
Having breakfast in the hotel, then ascend of San Cristobal Hill to get a panoramic view of the city. Later transfer to the airport for flight back home.
