The Global Travel Newspaper has built itself into an international tourism information platform with an aim of "introducing foreign countries to Chinese and introducing China to foreigners" since it started publication. The selection activity of "Top 50 Chinese Destinations for Foreigners," which was launched successfully by the Global Travel Newspaper with full co-operation with numerous domestic media in the first half of this year, and the current selection event of "Top 50 Places Abroad to Visit for the Chinese," are a reflection in our practice in implementing this motto.

Along with the burgeoning development of Chinese economy, Chinese travelers are becoming a "big cake" of various countries of the world, especially those outbound destination countries for Chinese. In face of a wonderful world, many Chinese will have a dazzling feeling when they travel abroad for the first time. How to make the vast numbers of Chinese travelers know the world better, this may be the original intention and wish of all the domestic media participating in this selection activity. Just like we’ve provided in our last selection a "reference value" and a "wind vane" for our foreign friends intending to visit China, this time we are trying to bring in a "reference value" and a "wind vane" for Chinese travelers for their global travel. As for how much the "golden content" of the "guide" is and how accurate the "wind vane" is, this wholly depends on the full attendance of the general public, especially those outbound travel fans. This is because only "integrated participation" of all sectors, or "integration" of all resources, can best show our unparalleled force.
